Pilling is a phenomenon where fuzz on the fabric gets entangled, forming the shape of a small ball. This is a common phenomenon that occurs when the product is used, and is irrelevant to the functionality of the product.   Therefore, the occurrence of pilling does not indicate that the product is faulty.   Pilling may occur through friction or grazing with another object, or contact with a different product during washing. Generally, parts with frequent friction include parts of the hips, inner thighs, sleeves and back where friction occurs.   If friction occurs also on the shoulder strap and Velcro continuously, pilling may occur.
